I was blessed enough to grow up among the trees in a forest on a farm in Stellenbosch, giving my spirit the opportunity to be wild & free, climbing trees or challenging my body to do the impossible. I then took on gymnastics & learnt just how fascinating the human body. It was through these two practices, connecting with mother nature & gymnastics that I learnt there was so much more to life than just the wellbeing of our physical bodies. I was introduced to yoga in my study years & experienced a beautiful nostalgic moment of my childhood. It was there that I knew my dream was to teach yoga one day and share my unique gifts from Source living out my purposeful life. I completed my 200h YTT course and dreams do come true if we keep manifesting & do not lose hope! There is something so unique to giving ourselves the practice of yoga, allowing for our breath to move us about our days, may it be on or off our mats. There are very few things in life as powerful as self-love, exploring and delving deep within the wellbeing of our physical, emotional, mental and spiritual bodies through the practice of yoga – a complete balance of mind, body and soul. The philosophy aspect of the 8 Limbs of Yoga taught me to be mindful in my everyday life when it comes to my own transformation, those of others and my relationship with other fellow beings on earth – it’s a way of living and I cannot imagine my life without it. It lights up my soul that I can share my gifts to other beings in need of healing or self-love to experience it themselves through yoga, sacred ceremonies and sound journeys. *NaMaste*
